Earlier in the week I needed to go to Banana Republic to shop for back to work clothes (next week y'all! so sad!). We went to Memphis Pizza Cafe for dinner and Chase acted like such a big boy. We sat at a table rather than a booth and I think it made a world of difference. He actually sat in his chair without a booster and didn't try to crawl over the table or us! He knew he was there for pizza so he told anyone he could make eye-contact with "pizza!". It was pretty precious when he would pay attention to the family sitting behind us and he would laugh when they would laugh and totally butt into their conversations (i.e. a few of the kids talked about a dog in the parking lot. Chase turned to them and to the window and kept repeating "dog". Very cute!). He had such a great time and it was probably our best out to eat experience we've had all four of us.

In anticipation of July 4th, we bought some child friendly "fire"works for Chase. They are really just party poppers where you pull the string and paper comes out. Chase doesn't seem scared of them, but he's still working on the technique of not shooting them directly in his face!

We started to let Chase take baths in the whirlpool tub this week. I don't think there is any going back. He will wait until every last drop of water goes down the drain before getting out!
